Team Woofgang & Co is a non-profit organization committed to empowering adults with disabilities through vocation skill training, life-long learning, and social opportunities. Their team members participate in producing, packaging, marketing, and selling handmade dog treats (yes, they're in the sWag bags) and pet toys. Their retail location is 1300 Post Road – Fairfield, CT.

As a mom of a special needs daughter, I know how hard it is to get meaningful employment for those with differences. Team Woofgang's job coaching helps their team members build skills to lead to employment in their communities. So thrilled to support this amazing organization that was started in 2017 by three powerhouse moms of special needs kids.

2023 CT Pooch Playoffs Winner

Meet Mabel! A gorgeous Bernese Mountain Dog with a heart of gold and a lot of love to share. Mabel was just around a year old and a rambunctious puppy and resides in South Salem, NY. Such a pleasure photographing Mabel and getting to know her humans.

2022 CT Pooch Playoffs Winner

Meet Nutmeg! What an appropriate name for our 2022 CT winner! Nutmeg was not even a year old when entered into the competition. This beautiful Australian Shepherd/Lab mix had a human that knew how to promote her with fabulous reels, some of which were inspired by her human being a Swiftie!

2021 CT Pooch Playoffs Winner

Meet Clemmie! This adorable Schnoodle is from Greenwich, CT and has a loving family of sporty humans! Clemmie set a high bar for the first year of our Pooch Playoffs competition!

I adore dogs now, but I actually grew up terrified of dogs after an unintentional dog accident when I was five. When our daughter was young one of her therapists suggested it would be great for us to get a dog for my daughter. Luckily when we moved to our current house, our neighbor had a yellow lab who got me over my fear of dogs, and we ended up with one of her puppies. Now I can't imagine my life without a dog!

The portraits of our family with our first dog, and our current dog, Shelby, are throughout our home. Since our daughter was little we have decorated her room with portraits of her with our dog. As a client told me, the portraits make your house a home!

Fifteen years ago, when I opened my studio, I didn't appreciate just how transformational portraits decorating your home can be.

HERE'S HOW POOCH SESSIONS WORK

LET'S CHAT

This complimentary consultation is our chance to get to learn about you and your pet. Together, we collaborate on everything from location, what to expect and what you want to get out of this experience.

PERSONALIZED SESSION

Your session is a success by helping you and your pet feel comfortable. Sessions are at my studio or at a location of your choice. Background color options that work with your dogs' coloring and where the portrait will live.

ORDERING ARTWORK

You will love this step! We get together to review the best portraits, and together, we determine which portrait for the online bracket (if part of Pooch Playoffs), and order the artwork that will bring you the most joy for years to come. So fun.

OFFICIAL RULES:

Official voting starting on Monday, April 15th

Each round is two days and ends at 11:59 pm. The pooch with the most votes in their match up at the end of the round will automatically advance to the next round.

Participants are allowed one vote per email per day. You have to pick your favorite pooch for each match up (even though it will be a tough choice), and enter your name, email and hit enter for your vote to be counted. It worked if you see a thank you and a bracket at the end. If you need help, give me a call at 203-273-8084.

Contestant families are welcome to share the link to vote via email, text and social media, and use the graphic provided to them to promote their pet for Pooch Playoffs.
